June 2011 – 5 A side Touch Rugby Tournament

The Diani Beach 5-a-Side Touch Rugby tournament takes place in Kenya on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Five kilometers of wonderful white sand, amazing clear blue waters with a coral reef running parallel six hundred meters offshore. This is an idyllic setting for this annual tournament.

The one and only beach music festival in East Africa, plus a full moon can only lead to a great night. Featuring Kenya’s top musicians Eric Wainaina, Yuanzi, Hootenanny and from the UK Jam Sandwich. Don’t miss this unique Festival.

The first Chukka will kick off at 7:30pm on Thursday 21stOctober and we will play till about 11:30pm. Then will resume on the 22nd at 7:30pm completing the event. During the days we will be organizing Camel Polo and camel racing, Ngalawa Races with a pub crawl element.

The 6th annual Kenya Cup kite surfing competition will be held on the 28th and 29th of December 2010 at Forty Thieves Beach Bar, on Diani Beach in aid of The Colobus Trust.

Kite Surfing is the world’s fastest growing water sport. It is an eccentric extreme sport that is amazing to watch, drawing big crowds.

Thanks to H2O Extreme, Kenya is now a world known location for kite surfing, and our goal is to include The Kenya Cup into the world kite surfing tour by 2012.The 2009 Kenya Cup was a great success, attracting over 3,000 spectators
